‘Back to the Island’ is Matt’s first solo album in over two decades. The album contains Matt’s inimitable take on tunes ‘as old as the ditch’ (as he says himself), as well as a selection of his own original compositions – new tunes, but distillations of the same unique spirit that has always marked out his incredible flute playing.
