This CD magnificently conveys the intensity of life and the excitement engendered by traditional musicians enjoying themselves. But as the live Music only reveals itself fully to the live listener, so, in other ways this tape is a record of what you missed. A good thing too, Ciarán Carson thinks, because of course 'an important part of learning about the Music is finding out for yourself.' You might have to go over all those hump-backed bridges to Molloy's or you might discover it in a bar down your own street; Matt just hopes this CD may be the beginning of the journey.
